The quality problems of solar road studs can be classified into the following types: the first one is that the solar road studs cannot resist heavy pressure; the second one is that the solar road studs cannot resist high temperature; the third one is that the solar road studs are not rain-proof.
The solar road studs cannot resist heavy pressure mainly refers to that the studs have greater chance to be rolled, and the reason may be that:
1. The structure of the solar road stud cannot resist heavy pressure
Hollow structure: in many conditions, the solar road studs installed on the ground always have the condition of being cracked or the upper part separated with the lower part, and that is caused by the unreasonable design of the structure of the solar road stud. Many people think that the aluminium shell has greater pressure resistance than others; however, this understanding is impartial. If the road stud is hollow inside, it cannot resist heavy pressure to some extent.
2. The solar panel cannot resist heavy pressure.
The battery of solar road stud cannot resist high temperature:
It mainly refers to that if the battery works in high temperature, the life span of it will reduce substantially. The surface temperature of some places will reach 70℃ in summer, but the applied temperature of the ordinary battery of solar road stud cannot be over 50℃. So the extreme temperature should be taken into consideration in the process of purchasing road stud.
The solar road stud is non-water-proofing:
It mainly refers to that the solar road stud will be expand with heat and contract with cold if it is applied outdoors, and there will be gap in the connection part of the shell of solar road stud. In winter, the rain water will permeate into the road stud and frozen, which will cause larger gap of the shell, and then more water will permeate into the stud, which will influent the life span of solar road stud.
